Inclusion Criteria:

- Orthodontic need for bilateral extraction of lower first premolars

Exclusion Criteria:

- Alcoholism, smoking, drug use and abuse of drugs; Systemic diseases: uncontrolled
diabetes, blood dyscrasias, kidney or heart failure and osteoporosis; clinical or
radiographic signs of pathological processes in the bone;
