Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

• MRI diagnosed bone marrow edema

Exclusion Criteria:

• any prior antiresorptive or osteoanabolic treatment

• any prior therapy with strontium ranelate

• Hyper-/hypocalcemia

• malignancies

• pregnancy

• and contraindication against denosumab or teriparatide
