Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

• (ASA) II-III physical status

• elective inguinal hernia

• lower extremity surgery

• general anesthesia

• supine position

Exclusion Criteria:

• nasal septum,

• adenotonsillar hypertrophy,

• perforated tympanic membrane,

• middle ear pathology

• receive medications for middle ear pressure .
