Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:- Patients with non variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding proven by
esophagogastroduodenoscopy
- Patients with active bleeding (Forrest classification Ia or Ib or IIa)
Exclusion Criteria:
- Patients with upper gastrointestinal tract malignancy
- Patients with acute severe illness
- Coagulopathy: liver cirrhosis, thrombocytopenia
- Pregnant women
