Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

• Chronic hemodialysis patients

Exclusion Criteria:

• Acute disease (infection, thrombosis, ischemia, bleeding)

• Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C or HIV

• Intravenous iron administration or packed red cell transfusion in the last 4 weeks prior to the study
