Summary
Hysterectomy, as any major operation, can cause complications, as hemorrhage which may occur
in some cases and sometimes requiring blood transfusion. Recent study proved that misoprostol
success in reducing blood loss during total abdominal hysterectomy when used once before the
surgery.
