Inclusion Criteria:

• American society of anesthesiologists physical status class ||or |||.

• Patients scheduled for elective thoracotomy.

Exclusion Criteria:

• Pneumonectomy, decortication, pleural biopsy.

• Additional chest wall resection.

• Emergency surgery.

• Central and peripheral neuropathies.
