Summary
Many treatments like acupuncture, manipulative therapy and pharmacological therapy have been
proposed to alleviate symptoms associated with dysmenorrhea. However, no study has previously
compared lumbar spine manipulation to pharmacological therapy in the treatment of primary
dysmenorrhea.
