A prospective randomized study was performed. Compliance with the treatment and healing rate
of chronic anal fissure in patients receiving glyceryl trinitrate ointment (GTO) and subjects
undergoing percutaneous posterior tibial nerve stimulation (PPTNS) were evaluated .
