Inclusion Criteria:

- Males/females with CDAD

- Females must use adequate contraception

- Signed informed consent

Exclusion Criteria:

- Life-threatening CDAD

- Toxic megacolon

- Pregnant

- Concurrent use of diarrheal agents

- Participation in other trials
