Summary
The purpose of the study is to compare the effects of pre-operative methylprednisolone (125mg
iv) versus placebo on postoperative outcome after hip arthroplasty.
The hypothesis is that pre-operative methylprednisolone (125mg iv) will reduce time to
fulfill discharge criteria.
