Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

• outpatient gynecological laparoscopy

• ASA PS 1 and 2

• fluent in English

Exclusion Criteria:

• history of allergy to duloxetine, history of chronic opioid use, pregnant patients, preoperative SSRI or SNRI use, prolonged QT interval on ECG
