Inclusion Criteria:

- Diagnosis of exudative AMD and a primary or recurrent subfoveal CNV lesion in the
study eye.

- Other protocol-defined inclusion criteria may apply.

Exclusion Criteria:

- Under 50 years.

- Other protocol-defined exclusion criteria may apply.
