Summary
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of varenicline in Japanese
smokers. Efficacy is evaluated by continuous quit rate and withdrawal symptoms of smokers.
Safety is evaluated by adverse events, laboratory tests, and other safety tests.
