Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

• Type 2 Diabetes

• Insulin-naive

• Non-smoker

Exclusion Criteria:

• Significant pulmonary, hepatic or renal disease

• severe congestive heart failure

• active malignancy or malignancy within the last 5 years

• systemic glucocorticoid therapy
