Inclusion Criteria:

- diabetic patients

Exclusion Criteria:

- history of intraocular surgery or laser treatment,

- any ocular diseases that might affect pupil size such as glaucoma,uveitis,Horner's
syndrome, Adies' pupil,

- history of allergy to any drug used, and

- hypertension
