Robert Poorvin, CTO, VP of Technology Development, has over 30 years, in the clinical trials / drug development efforts in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Device, CRO, and Software companies. In his previous held positions in Data Management, Analysis (SAS) Programming, Medical Imaging Repository, Systems Administration, Strategic Planning, and Applications Development Groups. He has worked on over 200 clinical studies across numerous therapeutic areas. He has spearheaded the incorporation of new regulatory compliance in areas such as 21 CFR part 11 & 802, validation, CDISC, and eCTD. In his applications development and system administrative capacities, he has been responsible for the development and operation of domestic and international EDCs, CRA site visit reporting, CTMSs, Medical Coding, medical imaging networks, as well as PBXs, IVRSs, and imaging facilities.
Mr. Poorvin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology & Psychology from York College, City University of New York and a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology from Minnesota State University. He has also completed training in the areas of Software Development Methodologies (SDLC & Agile), Product Management, 21 CFR Part 11 Validation, MedDRA coding & Data Analysis, Web Development (HTML / Java), IVRS programming, SQL Server programming & administration, Crystal Reports, XML programming, .NET Programming, SAS programming, and TeleForm programming, PBX administration & programming, and Project management.
